Details: Ellievision AV was brought on board by the team managing Winterland Milton Keynes to support it with audio visual needs over the 42 day duration of the event. A festive event for families, it included a Santa’s grotto, ice rink, fun fair and stage with daily scheduled acts.
As the temporary extension of the team, Ellievision AV worked on everything from festoon lighting on the paths and chalets, up lighting the main iconic building facades, providing an outdoor LED backdrop on the main stage and managing the content on the screen. It also looked after all the sounds, lights and even smells in Santa’s grotto!
The main challenge on an outdoor event in November and December is the weather. Luckily the 4mm outdoor LED was more than a match for the wind, rain and cold. With the dark nights the lighting was vital and brought a real ambience to the event.
