Red Rooster Festival in Suffolk is set to go ahead in September with social distancing in place. Organisers say they are following the latest government guidance on staging outdoor events, which states that outdoor gigs and arts performances can resume providing they have a “limited and socially distanced audience”.
The event on 4-6 September will be held at Euston Hall estate and is one of a small number of UK festivals that will take place in 2020.
“We are working closely with our Health & Safety and Production teams to produce something that is truly magical without losing the spirit and atmosphere of our beautiful little festival,” said festival director and production manager James Brennan.
“Over 60 per cent of our audience stay in family group campervans which hugely helps us contain camping areas safely, plus by moving to outdoor stages only, we feel we can offer a safe environment in which to enjoy the festival.
