Sea Change Festival

Sea Change FestivalCompany: Integro Entertainment & Sport Insurance
Telephone: 0203 915 0343

Description: A festival of music, art, culture, food and drink in Totnes, Devon.

Service supplied: Insurance – public liability, employers liability, hired-in equipment and cancellation.

Details: This was the first year that Tim Rudland at Integro E&S acted as the broker to Sea Change Festival. Having placed their policies, the festival got in touch on the Wednesday prior to the festival opening on the Friday. The supplier for the main stage had let them down and the stage was not going to arrive. With artists and fans already en route, and no stage for the bands to perform on, their biggest fear was that they would have to cancel.

Sea change festivalThe Integro team advised the best course of action and a new supplier for the staging was sourced. At such late notice this would usually have incurred an extra cost, however, as the right insurance policy was in place, the cost was covered and the event went ahead.

It was the biggest year yet for Sea Change, with more bands, more speakers, more structures and more hours than in previous years.

Feedback: Sea Change Festival said: “It was a really stressful experience but Integro was incredibly helpful and calm from the eye of the storm right through to getting this resolved. We’ll be coming back to them to set up cover next year. Let’s hope for calmer waters!”
