Details: The glampsite owners needed structures that could fit onto their existing timber decks. They also had concerns over canvas structures being sited next to hedging as their original tents had been affected by algal growth. They also wanted to make the most of views from the pitches so we equipped the yurts with wider hardwood doors and two windows in each.
We listened to the clients’ needs and offered different colour combinations for the outer polycotton canvas cover, while reassuring them that our products would be robust and long-lasting. They are now into their third season using the yurts and they still look as good as new.

Details: It was a huge pleasure to watch Ellie, Dan and their young family make the lifestyle switch from city-dwelling to small holding farmers and glampsite owners. They had a clear vision of the experience they wanted to offer clients in the most beautiful unspoilt corner of Wales. Beginning with three of our Classic Safari Tents, we then changed the colour of the tent canvas and made some bespoke adjustments to the interior layouts to accommodate their specific design. It resulted in a great looking product and the team at Bond then spent two days on site installing ready for the first glamping season to begin in Spring 2017.
The three safari tents sit in a slightly elevated position on substantial decked bases taking in stunning views. It is always a joy to see our client’s dreams and plans realised from their very first ideas and design meeting through to a successful glamping business.

Description: Pant Y Rhedyn is a 10 acre smallholding sitting in the hills of the Conwy valley. It enjoys panoramic views of unspoilt countryside and the Snowdonia mountain range, and is conveniently located for the local tourist towns of Llanrwst and Llandudno

Details: With such breathtaking views and surroundings, the owners of Pant y Rhedyn were keen to source glamping structures that would be sympathetic to the landscape. The natural shape of the domes already complemented the rolling hills, but we worked together in finding a suitable cover colour that would complement the luscious greens of the meadow that they are located in.

Glampsite: Casa Babi B&B in Vilanculos, Mozambique
Description: Casa Babi is located on the most beautiful beach in Vilanculos, in the South part of Mozambique. With a stunning view on the Indian Ocean, this very cosy boutique guest house with only a few bedrooms is a very special spot, well known as a charming B&B and for its in-home dive centre and kite-surf school

Details: There are two Bubbles at Casa Babi: a small one is used by the pool for private diners, cocktails and massages, facing the Ocean at the sunset. The guests spend their evening, like in a cocoon, with a large clear view of the Ocean, having the Milky Way for the celling. The larger Bubble is set up on the roof-top as the ‘Watchtower Bar’ – a relaxing sunset bar – and also used for family diners. Fully transparent, guests enjoy a 360° view over the city and Mozambique Canal.
The owners knew the inflatable structures from the Santa Ynez Valley in California and from Namibia, and asked Casa Bubble to customise two domes to offer their guests a unique experience.
From £2,600, the Bubbles come in three models with two versions for each – the luxury ‘Paris Collection’ which is fully modular, and the ‘Easy’ versions which are more affordable.
CasaBubble’s limitless concept allows owners to connect as many domes as they wish to create their own structure, or split them to make different accommodations or living spaces. Bespoke designs are also available upon request.
