It began with a sketch, was brought to life on ‘George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces’ and now Tree Tents has launched the next generation design of its namesake structure the Tree Tent – the world’s first flat-pack, suspended tree house – on a Swedish island dedicated to outdoor adventure.
“Staying true to our vision of creating the world’s greatest outdoor hideaways, we’ve honed the Tree Tent design, rigorously testing materials and tracking their lifecycle to ensure the structure performs to the high standards we expect for owners, guests and the environment,” says Jason Thawley, innovation and design director at Tree Tents. “I can’t think of a better place to launch the new design than in Askersund Outdoor’s idyllic Scandinavian woodland. The owners’ philosophy of encouraging enjoyment of the outdoors, while doing good business that doesn’t cost the earth, aligns perfectly with our own,” he adds.
Tree Tents is also proving a hit closer to home with the team busy installing across the UK for this summer. But thanks to a clever prefabricated design that promises painless installation in around two to three days, there’s still time to add the world’s greatest escape to your site for this season. 01273 973 937 / www.treetents.co.uk
