Details: The Norfolk Mead Hotel, a four-star Georgian country house within eight acres of private land, hosts unique outdoor weddings and functions throughout the year in its ‘Garden Room’ venue. The entire hotel can be hired for guests.
Mattressman has provided services to The Norfolk Mead Hotel for over seven years. Most recently the hotel enquired about updating some of their rooms to help cater for new guests staying overnight following weddings and parties.
Promoting a better occupancy rate for the hotel, Mattressman provided luxurious super king size zip and link divan and mattress sets that met all commercial and fire safety requirements. The zip and link sets allow the hotel to unzip the mattress and the divan base, parting them to make two single mattresses and a twin room and vice versa, depending on the guests they have booked to stay.

Details: The brief – to provide the seating for an upcoming fashion line launch that would take place over a number of weeks, attracting a range of audiences and spanning a myriad of tailored events. The venue was a contemporary Grade II listed building with personality galore and the challenge was to design a furniture hire package that would complement its beautiful neoclassical look. Another hurdle to overcome was delivering and unloading dozens of products on a very busy, high traffic road and installing them to multiple locations within a building with no lifts.
Europa International came up with a selection of practical linking chairs, which are lightweight and easy to move, with a number of eye-catching faux leather cube benches with colour pads to add a bit of depth. The installation was made at a time to suit the client (delivery on a Sunday, collection on a Friday night) and the delivery team was pre-briefed ahead of arrival to ensure they were prepared for the challenges of traffic and parking, having identified loading bays in close proximity.
Feedback: We’ve worked with Europa for a few years now, and we keep coming back for a number of reasons. Firstly, they are professional yet accommodating. We need an event furniture hire company that listens to, and responds, to the brief, but we also need a team that can help us to turn our ideas into a reality. Sometimes that means offering advice and insight into what will and what won’t work within a specific venue. Europa do this well, and we find them helpful, fun, and easy to work with from start to finish on any project.
