Details: Owned and operated by Clyde Scouts, Auchengillan was opened in 1926 and has continued to grow since. It offers a range of programmes, facilities and accommodation for groups within a stunning 120 acre estate.
Auchengillan required a number of unique accommodation units as well as catering units and shelters. Some areas of the site are exposed so required structures that could cope with high winds. The main 6m Finman BBQ Hut was to be used as both a communal eating and accommodation unit. Additional extensions were added to Logspan’s Finman range in order to create a bespoke design around the needs of Auchengillan.
