Glamping entrepreneur Kerry Roy has launched a ‘Hospitality Trade Off’, offering two nights’ stay at either her UK-based Kamp Katur or Italian site Cerchio Del Desiderio Glamping Retreat.
“With zero income for most of us in the hospitality industry, and many owners having their own holidays cancelled, wouldn’t it be nice if we all had a few nights away to look forward to post lockdown!” she says.
She is offering two night stay trade-offs in return for two nights in other beautiful hotels/B&Bs/glamping sites that she or her staff can use during off peak periods.
“It would be great to see more of the hospitality industry trade off with one another,” she says. “After all, we all need that much deserved break and downtime too.”
In addition to the free stay, she suggests it could be an opportunity for accommodation providers to take time to chat and share stories, leave good reviews for each other and share the experience on blogs and social media pages.
