Congratulations to Dandelion Hideaway, the 2017 winner of the new VisitEngland Glamping Provider of the Year Award. Two finalists were also named as Longlands in North Devon and Secret Meadows in Suffolk.
A feedback report from the tourist board stated: “The standard and quality of entries for this year’s awards was excellent, with numbers entering higher than in recent years, so there was more competition. When judging each category and creating shortlists our team of judges were looking for a concise and positive application form, great reviews that demonstrate excellent customer service, an engaging website with excellent images that sells the business and all other services that are offered, and evidence that supports any claims made about excellence, innovation and business success.”
On their win, Dandelion Hideaway owners John and Sharon Earp say, “We are utterly thrilled with bells on that we won! This is the fourth consecutive year that we have received an award from VisitEngland for the Dandelion Hideaway, however this year’s new glamping award is truly the icing on the cake. As pioneers of glamping, and with 10 years of dedication and immense hard work, we are completely overwhelmed, humbled and delighted.”
