A Cornish music festival returned for a second time in September after being saved by its community. Despite being sold out in 2018, Looe Music Festival was cancelled when its host charity went into administration. It was saved by the community who raised £30,000 in under a week to keep the show on the road, renaming the event Looe Saves the Day.

This year the festival was reborn as Looe Live! and featured more than 100 performances on four main stages, with headliners including Newton Faulkner, Level 42 and The Shires.
