People attending the Farm Business Innovation show

The Farm Business Innovation Show aims to inspire farmers, landowners and rural entrepreneurs with new prospects of land diversification. Held over two days at the NEC, Birmingham, the award-winning event features 550 exhibitor stands, live demos and a comprehensive programme of seminars featuring over 200 speakers.

Lord Carnarvon, the owner of Highclere Castle, will be talking about his estate which is well known as the location for the Downton Abbey TV series and film. Lord and Lady Carnarvon haven’t hesitated to make the most of their Downton exposure and have created books on the family and history of the castle, alongside new products such as cigars and gin to sell worldwide. Find out all about their projects and get inspired by their story.

Other seminar sessions will cover converting barns with minimum risk and maximum profit, how to make history and heritage interesting, health and safety tips for unknown projects, and avoiding the pitfalls of a number of diversification projects.

The Farm Business Innovation Show is run in conjunction with three other adjoining shows – Family Attraction Expo, Country House Business Innovation, Holiday Park & Resort Innovation, and the Leisure F&B Expo. This combination makes it the largest array of sport, leisure and hospitality offerings, all under one roof.

Looking to branch out into glamping, children’s play areas, alternative crops and livestock, or events? Head to the NEC, Birmingham on 6-7 November to explore the endless possibilities your land can offer.
