Description of venue and event: We provided our Aquarius bathroom hut to a private ball at Torre Abbey in Devon. It was quite a distance to travel but the organiser, Marie Ashcroft of Signature Blue Vintage Events, was determined to hire a luxury loo that looked great on the outside and didn’t detract from the stylish atmosphere like a conventional loo would!
Structures used: The Aquarius, our Wild Rover bathroom hut which offers hot showers and fresh flushing loos. The unit can be towed on the road to any venue. We have a similar range of bedrooms, bathrooms and bars.
Budget/cost: To hire: £820 + delivery. To purchase, the price would start from £30,000 inc. VAT.
Further details: The event was such a success that Marie purchased four of our Wild Rover bathroom huts in the following months and now hires them out to events in Devon with great success. Shortly after, we also built three for Southdown Shepherd Huts, Hampshire, for the same purpose. As we are based in Norfolk, there is no competition and we all work together to exchange referrals! We continue to seek event hire companies in other regions of the UK to grow on this success.

Name of event and venue: VET Festival, Loseley Park, Guildford, Surrey
Description of event: Small educational festival for vets held over a weekend in June. It has a 3,000 capacity with lectures and seminars throughout the day, live music in the evening and camping and glamping for around 200.
Products used: Themed trailers, luxury trailers, showers, single plastic toilets, barriers and trackway.
Further details: VET Festival is run by super vet Noel Fitzpatrick as an educational summer festival for veterinarians in June.
Site Equip was asked to provide an all in one package for toilets and showers, which involved supplying nearly all of our event products including the brand new themed 3+1 Shabby Chic trailer, which went down a storm. Due to the unreliable weather we also provided plastic roadway ensuring all vehicles could gain access to the site and service vehicles could still get around if it did rain.
We provided seven luxury toilet trailers and all servicing and cleaning was managed by our dedicated servicing team. Site Equip oversaw all aspects of sanitation and welfare including plumbing the showers and toilets into the existing water supply. All waste was disposed of in our large 26T vacuum tankers on-site. The festival had a small campsite and one of our six bay shower trailers provided lovely hot showers for the 200 campers.
Feedback from the client: The organisers wanted an all in one package so they didn’t have to liaise with multiple suppliers and could focus on the creative side of the festival. At the end of the event both the customer and attendees were extremely happy with our service, so much so they pencilled us in for next year straight away!
