As business grows so too does the team at Festivall Services. While the name may be new to you, having only formed in November 2021, the company has been built on the foundations of Josh Heyburn’s first event business, Kent Event Services (2017-2021), to deliver a high standard of event operations and staffing services to clients nationwide.
Josh, managing director, and Evan Morgan, office coordinator, advertised to expand the team recently to ensure consistency for their staff and clients. While the pair are based across Kent, South Yorkshire and South Wales, applications from across the UK were welcome for a remote working role.
When conducting remote interviews, it was clear to the pair that there was a need for a second stage in-person interview. Festivall Services connects people, and how could such a connection be established over a video call? The pair took the progressive approach to conduct second stage interviews in the candidates’ home towns or cities, where they could present a brief tour before conducting a follow up interview in an informal setting. The candidates praised the approach, which eliminated a need for them to travel and put them in an environment in which they were comfortable and familiar.
As a result of the interviews, Festivall Services is delighted to welcome Jessica Wainwright to the team as their new event staffing coordinator.
