This year Charles Wilson Engineers celebrates 40 years of trading. During this time it has expanded its service area further into the north of the country, including the opening of the 18th depot near Newcastle last year.
On 28 March the company held an Innovation Day at its Leeds depot with support from 26 suppliers. Customers and staff had the opportunity to see new machines and discuss their features and functions. Attendees voted for the most innovative product of the day, won by the Trime X-City Hybrid compact mobile tower light. This is the first mobile lighting tower with assisted electrical movement and is the latest addition to the range.
The specialist Events Division is able to provide equipment for events of all kinds, including mobile tower lights, boom lifts up to 43m, generators to 500Kva, forklifts and utility vehicles, as well as welfare units, plant and tools.
