CampPlus, manufacturer of the Duo and Solo en-suite pods, has joined forces with Finkota, a German producer of ‘Glamping Barrels’, Gypsy wagons and Gypsy caravans in Germany and other European countries.
The Glamping Barrel is fast becoming a very popular glamping accommodation in mainland Europe. In the six years since its introduction, Finkota has sold over 600 Barrels to more than 150 campsites. Legoland Denmark has installed 30 Barrels and Legoland Germany, 39.
On the merger, Gerhard Forster of Finkota said: “The CampPlus en-suite units make our glamping range complete. We have sent out a mailing about them and the response has been overwhelming. We believe they could be a key product in our range.”
CampPlus will be marketing the Finkota Glamping Barrels in the UK. Erik Verwaaijen of CampPlus said: “There was an immediate click with Gerhard and there is already a lot of synergy between our companies.
