Glampsites nationwideService: Marketing agency
Supplier: The Wanderlist, info@thewanderlist.uk / www.thewanderlist.uk

Details: The Wanderlist’s aim is to provide guests with luxury, unique and inspiring accommodation from across the UK while providing owners with an innovative platform to advertise their properties and gain lots of direct enquiries through professional and social media marketing.

In a world of hungry commission driven travel websites The Wanderlist strives to be personal, passionate and always commission free, helping owners to promote their unique spaces.

Owners can sign up to one of two packages, gold or silver. These packages showcase the best of British self-catered accommodation via social media channels, the Wanderlist website, blogs, newsletters and national coverage in well-known newspapers and magazines.

A key value at The Wanderlist is ensuring that owners feel seen and heard, and that’s why the team prefers to have a proper chat (tea and biscuits optional) about the accommodation before drawing up a bespoke listing. This way a true relationship is built at an individual level.

Parklife campers familyProduct: Social media training and strategy
Supplier: Social Media Sussex, lisa@socialmediasussex.com, www.socialmediasussex.com

Details: Parklife Campers is an exciting new business hiring out VW California Oceans for holidaymakers. Founded by Katie and Ali Park, their beautifully specced and kitted out vans are perfect for those who wish to experience van life to the fullest.

Katie enrolled on Lisa Bullen’s (Social Media Sussex) online course ‘How you can use social media to grow your campsite or glamping business’ followed by a one-to-one training session.

parklife campers logoKatie was full of ideas but struggling to organise them into an effective and logical strategy. She had a working knowledge of Facebook as a personal user, but not from a business point of view. Additionally, she was keen to learn how to use Instagram and maximise its newer features including Stories and Guides.

Instagram offers Parklife a great opportunity to build their brand and create a community. By encouraging customers to use their hashtag #ParklifeCampers in their own Instagram Posts and Stories, Parklife can share user generated content of their VW vans out on the road on their own social account. This really complements and supports their own social Posts, Stories and Guides.

I needed a tried and tested format and an understanding of what was required to build a social media presence.”
