Name of event:
SummerSocial
Description of venue: Richmond Athletic Ground
Product used: 20ft VIP container bar
Budget/cost: <£10k

Further details: We were approached by a client to create a unique networking space for their major sponsor and guests at an outdoor event they were attending. The brief was to stand out from the crowd and to give their guests a more premium experience than just a covered marquee. It was a one day event so they needed something that could be set up and removed quickly but that also really stood out and showcased the branding of the sponsor.

Our converted 20ft container bar and rooftop terrace provided the perfect solution. Fantastic branding opportunities, quick to set up during build and remove during break, a VIP roof terrace and a full service bar with all the extras for their clients.

Feedback from the client: “We were very impressed with the end result from the entire team at LiveWorkPlay who worked hard to deliver our brief on budget at short notice. The end result was exactly what our sponsor wanted and the entire process was very smooth from start to finish.” Rob Westworth, director, Westworth Kemp Events. The Golden Button BallCompany: Coldtraila

Name of event: The Golden Button Ball held at The Verzons Hotel, Ledbury. The ball featured a drinks reception, sit down three course meal, games, band and DJ until 2am
Description of venue: Marquee within hotel grounds for 300 people
Bar/catering product used: Refrigerated Humbaur trailer to store all the drinks at the perfect temperature

Further details: Once the marquee was set up, which was two days prior to the function, we could establish the trailer in its correct position near to the bar area. We set up the trailer with the prop stands, making it level. The trailer had internal racking to store the bottles and the doors were lockable to keep the contents secure. Having the trailer in place well before the event started ensured the drinks were well prepared and could be ready in advance, while the event organisers prepared other areas of the marquee. We offer trailer hire on flexible rentals – weekend or longer.

Feedback from the client: We had great feedback from the Golden Button Ball organisers. They were very pleased with the swift delivery and setup of the trailer and how easily the drinks can be organised for a large function: “We would like to thank Coldtraila for keeping all the white wine chilled for the Hunt Ball the night before – thanks guys!”Bar-GoCompany: Bar-Go

Name of product: Bar-Go is a new event bar structures company. Our container based bar can be easily adapted from one theme to the next, depending on the type of event.

Description of product: The Texan themed bar ‘Stubbs Mcghee’s’ makes a very cool focal point for any music festival, public event or party. It can also be transformed into a smart bar called ‘The Clubhouse’ that would work well at any high end function, regatta or sporting event. A bar theme has also been created specifically for racecourses called ‘The Final Furlong’.

Structures used: Being container based, Bar-Go structures are easily transported to event locations, dropped and, within a short space of time, are operational.

Cost: Hire fees are linked to the location/transportation costs and start at £7,500.

Further details: Bar-Go’s event bars are adaptable and we can work with brands and sponsors to deliver their activation requirements.

Feedback from the client: Bar-Go offers real flexibility and a value for money solution to the norm of drinks in stretch tents and marquees. We’ve created something really unique with bars that will become the venue for good times in 2018 and beyond.
